Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, dual-language social worker. She has over 13 years' experience working with non-profit organizations. She's worked in a number of different settings, for example, with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems and survivors of sexual assault, as well as partners who were victimized. Mrs. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas belongs to the Perinatal team for Behavioral Health who work with pregnant as well as postpartum women. She has been trained in adult and trauma-informed EMDR. Also, she offers private and group counseling, medication assisted treatment, referral for specialty care along with Women's support groups. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent animal homes as volunteer with the Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She's committed to her commitment to the Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and is working to transform Los Angeles into an animal-free city. Amanda is a person who makes the best of her every moment.
